We are pleased to announce a major upgrade to the sample‑handling robot on the CMCF‑ID beamline. This enhancement introduces several new features designed to improve the speed, flexibility, and reliability of remote data collection at CMCF.

The upgrade includes a newly installed double‑gripper system now enables faster and more efficient sample exchanges at the beamline. The updated design also provides improved compatibility with a broader range of sample‑pin types. Operational robustness has been significantly strengthened, and users will benefit from more reliable handling, reduced interruption frequency, and newly implemented auto‑recovery options that allow the robot to correct common issues without manual intervention.

All new features are now active on the CMCF‑ID beamline.
